Book Review: The Doom Magnetic Trilogy

Book: The Doom Magnetic Trilogy

Author: William Pauley III

Thank you NetGalley and Doom Fiction for an advanced audio copy.

The Doom Magnetic trilogy is three short stories combined into one book. The third story, The Brothers Crunk, is actually one I read as a stand-alone and I really liked it. I liked it so much that I went through it again and did not get bored.

William Pauley III is truly a genius in this genre. He knows how to write with such imagery that you see every gory detail. I was listening to this book while eating breakfast, I had to stop eating breakfast thanks to the detail that Pauley puts into his work.

I have now read seven of Pauley’s books and each time I’m blown away by how he can build a story in the way he does. He uses such detail and makes such unique worlds. Every book by him has me feeling like I am in the story. I see and smell every gory and disgusting detail.

I can’t wait for my next book by William Pauley III. He is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors.

Final score 4/5
