Book: Big Trouble on Sullivan’s Island

One of my favorite things about reviewing books is discovering new series that interest me. Big Trouble on Sullivans Island is the first book in a series and I can’t wait for the next installment.
The story follows Hadley. Hadley is a private investigator who is investigating the murder of one of her new friends.
I really respect what this book did. It’s so hard to talk about it without spoilers so I won’t say much. What I will say is who the murderer is, is not what this book is about. It’s about how you get there.
This is a book with so much Southern charm you won’t be able to read it without smiling. Hadley and everyone around her were well-developed, and likable characters. I really like where Hadley’s story ended up and I am looking forward to another book in this series.
