The First Shot is a prequel to The Last Mrs. Parrish. At just under 100 pages it made for a quick and easy read.

It tells you the story of Amber and the choices she had made before she decided to head over to Bishops Harbor, CT.

I honestly think this story could have been in the beginning of The Last Mrs. Parrish. It was a lot of information that we already knew so nothing will really blow you away.
