Book Review: Secluded Cabin Sleeps Six

Book: Secluded Cabin Sleeps Six

Author: Lisa Unger

Thank you to Negalley and Legend Press for an eARC in exchange for my honest review.

Secluded Cabin Sleeps Six follows three couples who go to a remote luxury cabin right when a storm is getting ready to hit. The storm rolls in and the power goes out. The three couples suddenly find out they are not alone. A killer is among them in the cabin. You find out that each person is holding onto a secret that eventually unravels.

The story has multiple POV’s every chapter being another from a different characters perspective. However, midway through you start to get characters that aren’t in the cabin. It begins to have two different stories being told that eventually wrap up into one in the end. I found it a bit confusing and hard to follow at times. I was hoping for the big moment in the end to blow me away but it did not unfortunately. The ending was good but a bit underwhelming, leaving the whole book on the underwhelming side.

Final Score 3/5
