Location: Inside Disney’s Contemporary Resort in Disney World
The Wave is somewhere we have gone the past couple of years for breakfast. They have a menu but we always go for the buffet. The buffet is always well stocked and very clean. Despite being a buffet and having heat lamps, the food always tastes fresh.
You have your usual Disney buffet items like your Mickey waffles scrambled eggs, the normal items to satisfy most people’s breakfast cravings.
Then you have some different items like sweet potato pancakes. They also have omelets that look almost like a biscuit, an omelet you can eat with your hands. This buffet has the best selection of baked goods that I have seen in Disney
The best part of the Wave is the staff. We have always had a great experience. This year our server asked us if we celebrating, which we were. It was our wedding anniversary. She seemed genuinely happy for us and then brought us out two mimosa’s at no charge. It was a great gesture that made us feels special.
As long as the wave has breakfast, we will be there every year. I can’t wait for next year.
